Who Our Clients Are:

Whether you need a hands-on partner to process every pay run or a fractional team to step in when questions arise, we offer two ways to help.

How it works ↓

Hands-on Partner:
We Manage Your Payroll

For companies that want us to run payroll end-to-end.

This is a full-service payroll management for global teams in the US.

    • Onboarding: We set up your Gusto account with a white-glove experience, including introductions to benefits providers and workers’ comp coverage.

    • Payroll Processing: We process payroll on your desired cadence — biweekly, semimonthly, or monthly — and send reminders seven days in advance.

    • Year-End & Compliance: From W-2 reviews to responding to tax notices, we keep your payroll compliant and error-free.

    • Reporting & Support: Need a summary, a report, or a question answered? Just email us. We will always be available for any issue, question, or guidance.

  • Our Manage Payroll package includes, but is not limited to, the following:

    • Gusto setup and account management

    • State and federal payroll tax accounts

    • Employee onboarding and terminations

    • Benefits and time-off policy setup

    • Garnishments and reimbursements

    • Responding to payroll-related state notices

    • Reporting and annual filings (W-2s, etc.)

    Example:

A client had an employee that moved from outside of the US to the US and we noticed they had FICA taxes removed from their pay. We reached out to the client to confirm if this was correct or if they were exempt. The client confirmed they should be exempt and we were able to adjust their personal tax filings to avoid them being overtaxed.

    • We know the U.S. payroll system — taxes, benefits, insurance, ect.

    • We catch issues before they become problems (such as over- or under-withholding).

    • We integrate payroll seamlessly with your accounting, compliance, and tax services.

    • We manage every step of your U.S. payroll process. Our team handles compliance, onboarding, state registrations, and everything in between — so you can focus on your people, not paperwork.

Fractional Team:
We’re Here to Advise

Companies that run payroll internally but want expert support.

This is advisory payroll support for teams that run payroll in-house.

  • If your team already manages payroll through Gusto, a PEO, or another provider, we step in when you need help. For example, we advise on:

    • Troubleshooting notices from payroll tax agencies, new hire on boardings, double-checking compliance, and more.

    • Payroll related compliance items, such as insurances, registrations, and other employee related items (PTO, benefits)

Our advisory role means researching and solving problems efficiently while passing on our knowledge to your team to apply in the future. Regardless of the payroll platform utilized, we are here to assist, resolve, guide your team through anything that comes up.

  • Our Advisory Package includes, but is not limited to, the following:

    • Review and resolve payroll tax notices

    • Advise on state registrations, insurance, and compliance

    • Support with onboarding or dismissing employees

    • Assist with payroll reporting or benefit documentation

    • Guide your team through complex payroll questions

    Example:

A client need us to go through all of their payroll tax accounts to figure out what states needed to be deregistered in and to proceed with the deregistration process as needed. We were able to close and pay any outstanding balance on the necessary accounts and avoided more missing/late filings, and further interest and penalties from accruing.

    • Directaccess to payroll specialists who can explain things simply

    • Fast, actionable guidance — without the need for a full payroll handoff

    • Confidence that they’re staying compliant with changing U.S. rules

    • Our ability to research and solve problems efficiently complements an in-house payroll team by allowing us to share knowledge they can apply in the future. They know they can pass any payroll question on to us for assistance.

When one client’s employee moved to the U.S., Gusto automatically applied FICA taxes — but this employee was exempt. We caught it early, confirmed the exemption, and prevented the employee from being overtaxed.

FAQs

  • We can absolutely try to assist with tax notices. While our ability to assist may vary on a case by case basis we are always happy to take a look at any tax notice and provide assistance or advice as needed.

  • Yes, we can always review new hire onboarding. This process would include verifying:

    • The work address has been set up appropriately to ensure they are being taxed in the correct state

    •  Related employment documents have been signed.

    • Any other onboarding related items

Please note that some items we may not be able to opine on due to them being more closely associated with specific labor laws.

  • Yes, if the state accounts have already been set up having access to any associated online accounts is extremely helpful in these cases. If the company does not have online access or has registered for the specified accounts then we can also assist with creating those accounts on an ad-hoc basis.

  • We are able to assist with most notification on Gusto accounts. Many of them do require additional steps which we can provide advice on or offer our assistance to clear them out. Any notices regarding benefits, or documents requiring signature, however, will need to be handled directly by the company.

  • If we have access to your payroll platform we should be able to assist with providing required reports. We will need the specific guidelines/period required by the benefits provider to ensure all pertinent details are captured.

  • Yes, we should be able to provide assistance with 401k end of year testing. However, there are quite a few company specific questions that we may need assistance with answering. If you would like our assistance in completing your end of year testing we will need access to your 401k account.
